1. Yellow Balau
Yellow Balau is a dense hardwood mainly used for heavy construction. The natural appeal, strength and versatility of this timber makes it an ideal choice for pergolas, kiosks, roof structures, screenings and other outdoor applications. Balau can also be used indoors.
2. Treated Keruing
Treated keruing is a hardwood that is strong, low maintenance and is classified as durable, making it useful for structural outdoor use. It is often used as a cheaper alternative to Balau for heavy construction. Its CCA treatment makes it exceptionally resistant to termites and rotting.
